It’s time for some reader participation!

I know you all are reading because you love me so dearly : ), so if you could help me out with any of the following that would be great . . . remember that you can comment on each of my posts (just follow the directions from the links).

1. Stickers. I have a nice motorbike helmet that needs some decorating. Anything that highlights your part of the world would be great- something from your state, place of work, etc, would be great!
2. Recipes. We have a lot of rice here, so a rice pudding recipe would be great. Also, while there is no oven we do have this cool bundt cake pan-thing that allows us to “bake” on the stovetop. So really, anything you can make in a bundt pan. Just post them here and I will let you know how the cooking goes.
3. Questions. What do you want to know about my Thailand adventures? Culture? Food? People? The langurs? Let me know and I will do my best to answer! The internet isn’t 100% or fast all of the time but I will try to update the blog every week or two.

  1. How's that for timing? This was the first time I made it to your blog, and I can be helpful! So I am now in France, Lyon is pretty sweet, it seems very quiet since school doesn't actually start for a week or two, but there is plenty to do to settle in, get a bank account, find a bike, etc. I feel like a clueless freshman again, but I did find a market today and felt very french buying all my fresh fruit and veggies. I miss you and hope Thailand is awesome! Here is a recipe, et bon appétit! Love, Charlotte
    2 c. cooked rice
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. powdered cinnamon
    Preparation:

Place rice in bowl, add all ingredients, stir to mix. Pour into greased baking dish or pan. Bake about 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

  2. Here's an idea: how about not posting everything for you blog in one day! I get overwhelmed...

seriously. You have a real letter in the works I promise. I had to turn my computer in to school to get fixed so I am with a silly loner now when I am at school, but none at home. ttfn.

love the leech socks. Told sarah the story about the roach. she screamed and shuddered for about five minutes after.
